I began calculating compound interest as a 6 year old. Now 70, I have had a lifelong interest in and passion for finance. I began working as a retail stockbroker in 1983 with an emphasis on small technology growth companies. Experiencing the 1987 market crash and subsequent market challenges led me to a new appreciation of the importance of macroeconomic issues. Reading “At the Crest of the Tidal Wave” by Robert Prechter in 1995 added a new appreciation of cycles, short, medium and long term. I believe they exist and that we are finishing technical patterns that began months, years, decades, and possibly centuries ago. I also believe that most individuals, and especially most institutional investors are basing their decisions on historical data… which is about to shift in the opposite direction in a big way. A paradigm shift - which will destroy most people’s finances.

I  look forward to discussing these important issues.
